Camping
We are a basic and unspoilt site, open all year, and can accommodate tents, caravans & motorhomes. On site there is drinking water, showering & toilet facilities, a pot washing area and an Elsan disposal point, and EHU for motorhomes and caravans & campervans. Vehicles can be parked next to your tent/caravan etc.
We welcome families, walkers, cyclists, bikers & dogs, we also have a rally field available.
Footpaths direct from the site lead to the Limestone Way, the High Peak & Tissington Trails and the Midshires Way. There are also a cycle hire points for families and individuals the nearest being on the High Peak trail at Parsley Hay which is 5 minutes by car.
There is a bus stop at the site and regular buses to Buxton & Ashbourne. Timetable available in the pub.

There are no additional charges for dogs. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the campsite but must not be allowed to roam, or be left unattended. They are also very welcome in the pub.
TO BOOK: please call 01298 83345 or email your requirements & we will send you a confirmation booking form which you can fill in and return by post or email. If you are wishing to book at short notice (ie less than a week in advance it is advisable to call us as opposed to emailing as our computer is not staffed full time) On arrival please book in at the pub (anytime from 12 noon) where you can fill in a booking form if you haven't already and payment is required in full. We do not take deposits on advanced bookings but do ask that you inform us if you are unable to make it. It is not essential to book but adviseable (especially if you require EHU) and especially Bank Holiday weekends to avoid disappointment,
