Menu
The restaurant serves fresh, home-made, traditional fayre of a high standard. All products are sourced locally, by our chef, whenever possible. Whether you want a quick snack or a celebratory meal this is the place to come. We have a wide range of choice and separate vegetarian & childrens menu. We also offer smaller portions of the main menu for children. We now have filtered coffee, decaff, Cappuccino, Latte and Mocha, a range of teas, including fruit and herbal, or if your feeling really indulgent a Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows & Cream! High chairs are available if needed
We cater for Birthday and Anniversary meals and can provide a celebratory cake if required. The table(s) can be decorated accordingly and Champagne or a sparkling wine can be put on ice to make the occasion just that extra bit special.
During the week we offer OAP/Goldcard special meal deals Mondays to Fridays 12 – 8.30pm.
We offer a separate Vegetarian Menu, which we are building on, aiming to offer one of the best vegetarian menus in the locality.
A selection of Sunday Roasts with all the trimmings are available every week and we also do a children’s roast. Served 12 noon til 8.30pm
Outside the pub are two beer gardens, one offering spectacular views, the other has a gated children’s play area and is surrounded by trees and shrubs and dry stone walls.
Meals can be eaten in the restaurant, lounge, snug, or outside – weather permitting of course.
Booking is not usually necessary but advisable at weekends in the Summer months.
Corporate lunches
Corporate lunches, meals/office parties are all catered for with special discounts for large group bookings.
Breakfasts, Lunches or Evening Meals can be arranged for race trips or special events.
Packed lunches can be prepared for campers and walkers.
We have a very large car park and can accommodate many vehicles including coaches.
